Senior Analyst Fixed Term Full Time – Research and Evaluation

We are looking for a someone as passionate about supporting data-driven decision making as we are. In Research and Evaluation we support the Ministry to use research, evaluation, and social investment tools to drive insights that support ambitious results for a fair and safe Aotearoa.
This fixed-term role supports Te Ao Mārama, a judicially led District Court initiative that partners with iwi and communities. Together, we ensure all court participants, including victims and whānau, can understand and actively engage in their cases.
As a Senior Analyst in the Research and Evaluation team you will be a critical lynchpin for Te Ao Mārama. You will leverage both data and capability from across our group to deliver actionable insights that support implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring.
You will effortlessly synthesise data and evaluative material, applying social investment tools and guidance to construct regular insightful reports. These reports will enable Te Ao Mārama to benchmark its progress and inform modelling of future expectations that can be tested over time.
Using your natural curiosity, advanced evaluation experience, and well-honed data-driven story telling skills, you will support Te Ao Mārama to enhance justice for all.

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Advanced evaluation experience, translating data and information in actionable insights.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $110,766 and $143,388 based on skills and experience.
