Role Overview:
We are looking for skilled TTM / STMS to join our growing team. In these key roles, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup and management of traffic management plans (TMPs) on a variety of project sites. You will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining safety for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management (TTM) equipment as per traffic management plans (TMPs)
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times on site
Manage traffic flow around work sites, minimizing disruption while ensuring the safety of workers, road users, and the public
Assist with the development and implementation of traffic management plans
Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure traffic management needs are met
As an STMS, supervise and coordinate traffic management teams, ensuring all operations are compliant with legal and safety standards
Conduct regular checks and risk assessments on traffic management setups
Train and mentor TTM staff as required
Ensure clear, concise communication with all stakeholders to address any issues or changes during operations

What We’re Looking For:

NZQF Level 1 qualification, or compulsory secondary education
Strong understanding of New Zealand's road safety regulations and TMP standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Strong focus on health and safety compliance
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, when required
Valid driver’s license
