Sourcing Specialist – Wellington – Permanent

Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role:
The Sourcing Specialist will manage and support the sourcing activities for Fire and Emergency. This can span from All of Government panel contracts through to supporting larger, high risk complex procurement activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing allocated sourcing tasks for allocated Fire and Emergency procurements
- Supporting the planning and scheduling of projects
- Supporting the development of sourcing strategies, including undertaking market and spend analysis
- Supporting the development of tender documents, including tender response forms
- Supporting the development of procurement plans
Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you’ll bring to the role:
Bring your experience with the Procurement field into a position where you will learn and grow. You will have strong communication and experience managing diverse internal and external relationships. You will have demonstrated analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will have:
- Technical procurement experience, including supporting higher value sourcing projects
- Knowledge in the provision of procurement advice to stakeholders
- Understanding of risk management in a procurement context
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis

The salary range for this role is $81,524 - $90,538 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
