About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about plants and eager to learn new skills in a thriving horticultural environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Glasshouse Spray Technician to join our team!
This is a fixed term role ending in February 2025, You will have a minimum of 40 hours per week. During the Summer season (October onwards), your shifts will be Tuesday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am and on Sundays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
In this role, you will be actively involved in maintaining our glasshouse operations. Your responsibilities will include spraying and scouting for bugs under the guidance of experienced supervisors, ensuring our plants remain healthy and pest-free. You’ll also have the chance to familiarize yourself with the Priva Climate Control System, which is crucial for managing the optimal growing conditions for our plants.
In addition, you'll be responsible for mixing fertilizers to provide essential nutrients and performing weekend duties to ensure the smooth running of the glasshouse.
Previous experience in horticulture or a related field is advantageous but not essential. We are happy to provide training for the right candidate.
