An amazing contract opportunity has arisen to join our Global Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Acquisition Partner. Based in Mount Maunganui, this role is responsible for identifying, attracting and hiring individuals who are aligned with our culture and values and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the entire lifecycle at Zespri.


As part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, this role will build and retain stakeholder relationships and ensuring we deliver an outstanding candidate experience, a strong regional recruitment strategy as well as strengthening Zespri’s EVP and DE&I initiatives.


Please note this is a 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Support full-cycle recruitment including job briefing, job posting, direct sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization
  • Create and implement Employment Marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management
  • Drive and participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and build a robust talent pipeline
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
  • Transform data into actionable insights to ensure that Zespri organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while maintaining a positive employee experience
  • Supporting the delivery of People team services and initiatives (broader than TA and PEX) within the ANZ region are delivered to a high standard, enhancing employee and people leader experiences

We are looking for a high performing recruitment professional who has a passion for people and forging strong relationships. Being results driven and able to work well under pressure you will also possess:

  • 5+ years of solid full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house and/or RPO) across with strong social recruiting footprints
  • Proven ability to directly source, effectively screen candidates compiling shortlists and providing candidate in addition to supporting Hiring Managers in the context of recruitment processes
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates and recruitment agencies
  • Strong analytical skills in data reporting and ability to connect talent and data landscape/ dynamics
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • An interest in technology – including previous ATS experience with HRIS and data visualization tools exposure advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong cross-cultural competence
  • The ability to drive & respond to change and deal with ambiguity across geographical time zones
  • An open-mind and be energetic
  • Self-motivation, be proactive and be a true team player
  • A relevant Bachelors degree (preferred)
