About the role:
We are seeking a Technical Administrator 3 Waters to join our Utilities and Roading Department, based in Rangiora, North Canterbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled administrator with expertise service request management, database management and contract administration to join a progressive and customer-focused Council.
The successful applicant will be a key part of the Utilities and Roading Administration team providing technical and administrative support services to the 3 Waters team and wider Utilities & Roading department. The role will work collaboratively across the department, and other Council teams as required, with particular interest in supporting and developing our service request management, database management and maintenance contract administration systems and processes, as well as providing secretarial support services as required.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with staff, the public and the wider Council to deliver outstanding results for both the community and the environment.
Our ideal candidate:
We are looking for someone with experience in office and business administration, preferably in a technology or engineering field. You will have strong interpersonal and communications skills and be good at developing relationships with internal staff and contractors. We are looking for someone who self-motivated, organised, proactive and solutions-focused.

This role will suit a qualified administrator, with a Level 5 certificate or higher, preferably with experience in technology or engineering field.
