About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager Trade Sales, you’ll be responsible for driving sales success and building strong customer relationships across an Auckland-based territory. You’ll identify opportunities to grow revenue, add value to business partnerships, and stay on top of market trends and projects. As a key player at industry events, you’ll combine hands-on relationship management with a focus on increasing market share.


Key responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities by researching and analysing market trends.
• Establish and grow relationships with clients and prospects, recommending tailored solutions.
• Maintain client relationships through ongoing support, guidance, and by recommending new opportunities for profit and service improvements.
• Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to identify product needs and opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports, analyse data, and provide key insights to support growth.
• Attend industry events, workshops, and training to maintain professional and technical knowledge.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of account management experience, ideally within the building industry.
• Proven track record of sales success and customer relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of building products, including technical specifications.
• Excellent time management, communication, and IT skills.
• Commercially minded and solutions focused.
