Minimum hours of work will be 30 hours and Maximum 50 hours.
To be considered for this role: -
- High standard of personal presentation and health & safety practices
- Must have valid clean Class 4 or 5 NZ Driver License or an equivalent overseas driver's license which can be converted into New zealand Licence
- Relevant truck driving experience in New Zealand is preferable
- Must be available for early mornings and late evenings and to work over the weekends.
- Able to work on rotation shift – day & night.
- Will work locally or travel long distances which means spending nights away from home.
- You should carry out routine checks of your truck
- Check the condition of the load and make sure it's secure.
- Keep appropriate records of and check invoices for materials they are carrying
- Keep Logbooks of hours you will work
- Applicant should have basic knowledge of the mechanics of the truck and how to maintain it
- Must pass company induction
- Knowledge of transport law and related industry law
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazards conditions
- We will help succesful candidtaes to attain knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Successful candidates must have a clean criminal record and must pass a drug and alcohol test
