Truck Driver

We have 7 Truck driver positions available.
Minimum hours of work will be 30 hours and Maximum 50 hours.

To be considered for this role: -

High standard of personal presentation and health & safety practices
Must have valid clean Class 4 or 5 NZ Driver License or an equivalent overseas driver's license which can be converted into New zealand Licence
Relevant truck driving experience in New Zealand is preferable
Must be available for early mornings and late evenings and to work over the weekends.
Able to work on rotation shift – day & night.
Will work locally or travel long distances which means spending nights away from home.
You should carry out routine checks of your truck
Check the condition of the load and make sure it's secure.
Keep appropriate records of and check invoices for materials they are carrying
Keep Logbooks of hours you will work
Applicant should have basic knowledge of the mechanics of the truck and how to maintain it
Must pass company induction
Knowledge of transport law and related industry law
Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazards conditions
We will help succesful candidtaes to attain knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Successful candidates must have a clean criminal record and must pass a drug and alcohol test
