This is a full-time permanent role and you will be operating from our base in Auckland and ready to take floating loads throughout New Zealand.
We offer a competitive pay rate ranging from $32 to $36 per hour, to the right candidate based on skills and experience, with long-term potential and growth. IMMEDIATE START with guaranteed minimum 30 hours of work!
Duties:
- Driving Class 5 trucks
- Delivering containers from depot to ports within metro areas Physical work involved
- Supervise or assist with loading and unloading
- Ensure load is strapped securely
- Pre-checks of vehicle before each trip – including oil, water, fuel, air pressure levels are in line with road safety and vehicle safety standards
- Valid Class 5 licence to operate trucks Excellent driving skills
- Be physically fit
- Need to swing-lift containers on customer sites
- Work independently or as part of a team Initiative and willingness to learn
- Be punctual, reliable, a can-do attitude and the willingness to get the job done.
- Have an awareness and commitment to following all health and safety work practices
- Must be flexible with roster work. It can be day or night. Sometimes need to stay out in other cites in line-haul run.
- Available for work on weekends.
