Mo tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
As the Waste Minimisation Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and promoting effective and efficient waste management in the community, as well as develop programmes and strategies that will promote behaviour change resulting in minimising waste to landfill.
What You'll Do:

• Create and deliver engaging campaigns that get the community excited about waste minimisation.
• Develop smart strategies to help businesses cut down on waste using the council's existing programmes while identifying opportunities for additional support.
• Ensure contractors deliver top-notch services that align with the council's goals.
• Cultivate and leverage relationships to achieve business objectives.

Ko ngā wheako ōu | About you
To succeed in this role, you'll bring;

• A tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental management, communications, behaviour change or community engagement.
• Proven experience in a waste minimisation and behaviour change, programme management role.
• Experience in the Construction and/or Demolition sector beneficial.
• Current Full Drivers Licence.
