As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Auckland.
We are looking for a permanent full-time role as a highly-skilled Web Developer passionate about crafting exceptional web experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time with expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
As a Web Developer, you will lead projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
You must have at least 36 months of sales/management/business/ retail/ admin experience and/or a minimum of a relevant qualification (Diploma level and above) .
Some of the tasks that you will be required to undertake include:

• *Lead the development of complex web applications from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using modern web development technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, guiding coding techniques and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving our development processes and methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Understanding the design requirements of the websites/web applications from the clients' perspective.
• Doing thorough diligence and quality assurance of the functionality of the web applications and other clients' projects.
• Managing and monitoring the web servers for any issues, such as web hosting, and email server hosting on the companies web server.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or proven experience 5+ years as a web developer, focusing on both front-end and back-end development.

Preferred but not required:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script.
• Extensive experience with server-side... (incomplete due to the cut-off text).

Experience with:

• Database systems such as My SQL.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
