Whängaia Ngä Pä Harakeke (WNPH) Waitemata is looking for one non-sworn Administrator to work in our state-of-the-art Hub located at the Waitakere Police Station. This position is Band C, permanent position.
Whängaia Ngä Pä Harakeke (WNPH) is a New Zealand Police initiative to partner with iwi/hapü, government agencies and non-government organisations to reduce Family Harm (FH) in communities.
The WNPH Administrator plays a key role in the daily Safety Assessment Meetings (SAM) that are held at the WNPH Hub. The SAM is a multi-agency meeting comprising of Corrections, Health, Oranga Tamariki and Police. The purpose of the SAM is to share information between agencies relating to FH episodes, to triage them and then prioritise actions emanating from these discussions.
The WNPH Administrator is integral to the meeting and is responsible for recording relevant shared information into the Family Safety System (FSS) in a live, dynamic environment. Part of the Administrators role is the preparation of supporting documents prior to the SAM commencing each day.
The successful applicant will be able to work as part of a team alongside another WNPH administrator and evidence the skills required to filter and enter data into the FSS in real time. Good key-board skills and experience in the use of NIA will also be a distinct advantage.
Hours of work: 0630-1430 Monday to Friday and the requirement to work every 4th Sunday (would receive a day off the following week.)
Key Accountabilities:
A sound knowledge of computer applications, in particular NIA and Microsoft suites is desirable.
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work hard in a team environment.
Ability to Problem-solve, work under pressure, and manage competing demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Manage time effectively to prioritise workflow and meet deadlines.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and total remuneration will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
