Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records specific to manufacturing, including cost accounting and inventory management.
Manage the general ledger, including reconciling accounts and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable for raw materials, equipment, and vendor payments.
Monitor and report on production costs, variances, and budgeting for manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
Assist with financial audits, ensuring accuracy in records related to production and inventory.
Generate regular financial reports for management to support decision-making and monitor profitability.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory standards, particularly those relevant to manufacturing.
Qualifications:
BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
Minimum 3 years experience in accounting, with a background in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Quick Books) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and manage deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
