Job Brief
The Area Business Manager, will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in the region, developing effective sales strategies, and managing and motivating a team of sales representatives.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the region
· Achieve sales and revenue targets by driving the sales team to meet and exceed performance goals
· Manage, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure they are meeting targets and delivering exceptional customer service
· Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures, legal requirements, and ethical standards
· Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in B.Pharm, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven track record of delivering sales growth in a highly competitive market
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
· Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and healthcare systems.
