Bookstore Support Staff/Cleaner

- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the bookstore, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, watering plants and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked with supplies such as toilet paper, handwash, resealable nylon, and paper towels.
- Empty trash throughout the store and dispose of waste
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas, including storage rooms, and office spaces.
- Assist with receiving and organizing incoming shipments of merchandise, books, and supplies.
- Aid in restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure a neat and organized appearance of the sales floor.
- Provide support during special events and book signings by assisting with setup, cleanup, and customer service as needed.
- Help with basic customer inquiries, directing them to appropriate sections or staff members for assistance.
- Support inventory management tasks such as counting, price tagging, and organizing merchandise as directed by management.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies. T
- Work collaboratively with other bookstore staff members to achieve common goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to coordinate tasks, share information, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment by demonstrating professionalism, respect and a willingness to assist others
Pay: ₦60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abuja: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
