Job Summary
We are looking to hire a knowledgeable and experienced nutritionist. This job involves providing counsel and recommendations for food and dietary practices for patients. Knowledge of different chronic diseases, local medicinal herbs and understanding of best nutritionist practices for healthy nutrition and weight loss.- Minimum Qualification : HND

Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutritional needs based on their medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits.
- Develop personalized nutrition plans and therapeutic diets tailored to individual health conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, or obesity.
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits, food choices, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall health and manage chronic conditions.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition plans into overall patient care.
- Regularly monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Provide ongoing counseling and support to help patients adhere to their dietary plans and make lasting lifestyle changes.
- Stay updated on the latest nutritional science and research to provide evidence-based recommendations and contribute to the development of new nutritional programs.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a B.Sc. in Human Nutrition or related fields.
- 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role preferably in the Health sector.
- A licensed member of the Dietetics Council of Nigeria (IDN or DAN) would be an added advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Possess a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
