EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & KEY KNOWLEDGE AREAS.
● Degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or Robotics & Automation is required.
● COREN Certification and asset, NSE required.
● Applicants must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the Controls and Automation Industry
● Proficiency in languages like C++, Python, or Robotic-specific languages (RAPID, FANUC)
● Hands-on Experience with robots like ABB, FANUC or KUKA
● Familiarity with systems like PLCs. HMIs, and SCADA
● Programming all controls related devices, including but not restricted to: PLC & HMIs (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron)
● Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Omron)
● Barcode scanners and printers (Zebra, Keyence, Cognex, Honeywell)
● Smart sensors (IO link devices, IFM, Balluff etc.)
● Knowledge of custom machine building and processes including welding, assembly, vision,laser, etc.
● Understanding of Electrical Code and Electrical Circuits
● Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
●Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Robotic Integration.
● Precision in Coding, Calibration, and Testing.
● Ability to collaborate/train others.
● Eagerness to learn and adjust to new technologies.
● Understanding of Industrial Safety Standards
● Valid Driver’s License & access to reliable transportation
● Valid passport and must be willing and able to travel locally and nationally.
Pay: From ₦6,000,000.00 per year
