Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance department. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our finance unit and will assist with the day-to-day tasks of the finance department.
Job Location: Abuja (Applicants should be resident in Lugbe, Airport Road or its Environs)
Salary: N100,000/month
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Conduct detailed financial data analysis, generating insights and presenting key findings to the finance team for strategic decision-making.
• Document financial transactions by entering and verifying information in the company’s financial systems.
• Assist in ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, supporting audits and internal controls.
• Provide general accounting support, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as human resources, etc,to gather financial data and ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Help maintain financial databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA is a plus
• Excellent understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers.
• Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
