Job Position: Front Desk Officer

Job Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:


  • Our client Paz Diagnostic is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Front Desk Officer to be the welcoming face of our center, ensuring a positive experience from the moment patients arrive.
  • As the Front Desk Officer at Paz Diagnostic Centre, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, assisting patients with check-in, and coordinating front desk activities. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service, maintaining efficient patient flow, and ensuring that all patients feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and clients with check-ins, inquiries, and directions within the diagnostic center.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about diagnostic services.
  • Assist patients with completing registration forms, verifying their information, and collecting necessary paperwork.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with medical and laboratory staff to ensure patient appointments and service times are well-organized.
  • Handle billing and payment processing, providing receipts and handling any payment-related inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Support the smooth operation of daily front desk activities and take on additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office management or healthcare administration is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using appointment scheduling and billing software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
