Fullstack Developer (Mid-Level)

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team in Kano, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend development, with a strong focus on React JS, HTML, CSS, Node JS, PHP, Laravel, and Django. A basic understanding of mobile app development is also required, as you will occasionally be involved in mobile app projects. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely part-time while ensuring a strong physical presence at our Kano office.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using React JS, HTML, CSS, Node JS, PHP, Laravel, and Django.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
Work on both the front-end and back-end of web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into web applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Assist in the development of mobile applications (basic knowledge required).
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and new approaches.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
Proficiency in front-end technologies: React JS, HTML, CSS, Java Script (ES6+).
Strong knowledge of back-end technologies: Node JS, PHP, and Django.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Basic understanding of mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, or similar technologies).
Experience with databases such as Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, or My SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with mobile-first responsive design.
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience with VTU/Automations strongly preferred.

Pay: From ₦350,000.00 per month
