Job Position: Human Resources Officer
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced and resourceful HR Officer to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes at our supermarket.
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper documentation for new hires.
- Organize onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
- Support line managers in conducting performance appraisals and developing employee improvement plans.
- Ensure the supermarket's HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and are properly communicated to all employees.
- Keep records of all employee information such as leave days, attendance, and payroll data.
- Address employee grievances, handle disciplinary actions, and mediate workplace conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Promote positive employee engagement and address any concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance evaluation systems.
- Coordinate with the finance department for timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, including health insurance and leave entitlements.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or supermarket settings.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR software.
N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
