There is a vacancy for the position of Marketing and PR Coordinator in a Lagos-based film Production, Marketing and Distribution Company, which is passionate about providing quality entertainment by creating afro-centric films.
The Marketing & PR Coordinator will create and leverage effective public relations, targeted media, digital, SMS & email marketing, advertising, press releases, website, social media, influencers, publications, and collateral materials to perform their role.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of a marketing and PR officer may involve the following duties:

• Planning and coordinating all company and product PR campaigns and strategies
• Monitor the public and media's opinions of our products and the company
• Writing and editing press releases, film taglines, brochures, speeches, newsletters, websites and social media content
• Utilising all forms of media, including traditional press, to build, maintain and manage the portrayal of the products and the company
• Representing the company at film-related events
• Training employees on how to handle media enquiries and press interviews
• Developing good working relationships with the media and liaising with the press on potential news stories
• Writing and editing in-house marketing-related case studies and annual reports
• Managing and supervising the digital marketing, influencer & social media marketing.
• Devising and coordinating photo opportunities
• Managing, arranging and overseeing company and film premiere events.
• Monitoring publicity and press coverage
• Commissioning market research
• Coordinating paid and unpaid advertising.

Experience & Qualifications

• BSc/BA/HND in public relations, mass communication, marketing or similar field will be preferred
• Being a member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)/Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) will be an added advantage
• Experience as a Talent Management Specialist
• 3+ years’ experience as a Marketing and PR Coordinator or proven experience in similar role will be preferred
• Previous experience in an Advertising company will be an added advantage
• Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
