Job Description/Requirements
Greater Scholars International School is a co-educational private school located in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria. We offer an international curriculum for children between the ages of 1-18 in the Ajah and Lekki areas. Our teaching philosophy is based on extensive research in education and over 15 years of experience working with children. We prioritize quality education, childcare, and total development of the children in our care. Our curriculum aims to develop our students' creativity, initiative, interdependence, inner discipline, and self-confidence.
Role Description
The teaching roles are for full-time and part-time on-site positions located in Lekki. The responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and managing classroom activities. The teacher will be required to continuously develop their knowledge of technology and integrate it into the curriculum to introduce technology to the students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education most preferable
- Experience in teaching in a classroom environment.
- Excellent knowledge of teaching concepts,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in teaching approaches
