Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited (TES) is an indigenous Engineering and Oil and Gas Service Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2001 with expertise in providing full-service integrated solutions to clients across the entire oil and gas value chain. We currently operate from our offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Benin and we aspire to become the leading provider of quality Oil and Gas Engineering Services in West Africa.
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Document Controller (Business Relations) to join our team.
Academic Qualification :
University degree/Higher National Diploma in any Discipline
Professional Certifications :
Microsoft Office applications certifications is an added advantage
Document Control Platforms (Mandatory):
  • Experience with MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word and others)
  • Minimum of 12months hands on experience with usage of specialized document control Applications such as Shell Information Management System (SIMS), Share Point and External Stakeholder Interface Management System (ESIMS).
  • Clear Understanding of Shell correspondence policies and managing of Shell correspondences with at least 12month experience with a team handling Shell correspondences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Resilient personality with focus and determination
  • Strong organizational skills essential
Work Experience
Minimum of 10 years of work experience – Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.
Leadership Skills
  • Experience and Working Knowledge of Corporate Document filing and controls.
  • Reporting and Presentation.
  • Stake Holder Management.
  • Experience in Information Management.
  • Excellent communicator (both written and oral), self-directed and highly motivated requiring minimal direct guidance.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrable coaching and mentoring skills
  • Positive attitude, excellent inter-personal skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask and to organize duties in an efficient manner while being flexible and capable of dealing with sudden priority changes with exceptional attention to detail.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Outbound Correspondence Mgt
  • Inbound Correspondence Mgt.
  • Co Co Document Retrieval.
  • Co Co Share Point Mgt.
  • Document Management (incl. controls).
  • Ad-hoc stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Work Schedule:
  • The work location is mostly office based. However, there will be periodical external engagements to support Governance process/other stakeholder management activities.
  • Personnel shall manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers, as approved by Client.
