Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Trans- Amadi, Port Harcourt
Business: Oil & Gas Servicing
Salary: 150,000
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties / Responsibilities:
Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
Follow and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedure
Review, compare, analyze, and recommend products and services to be purchased
Monitor suppliers performance and resolve issues and concerns
Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Provide price trend recommendations and search for new suppliers related to the procurement of promo materials
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Preparing budgets and cost analyses
Generate insightful reports that enhances best business decision on purchases, to promote quality and cost-effectiveness
Requirements / Skill
BSC/HND in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
At least 2 years experience in foreign and domestic procurement in an oil and gas servicing firm
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strategic vision and business acumen
Strong data collecting and analyzing skills
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market

Pay: From ₦150,000.00 per month
