Job Title: Business Development Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Industry: Technology hub & Training Centre
Salary: 350,000 – 400,000
We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced sales professional with extensive knowledge of the technology training and professional development landscape in Nigeria. The Business Development Manager will play a key execution role in: Planning, developing, marketing, executing, monitoring, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions to ultimately boost sales and commercial growth of the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales growth
  • Sales process development
  • Sales channel development
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Market scoping and assessment
  • Process and programme monitoring
  • Customer recruitment (B2C and B2B)
  • Costs, budget and expense management
  • Support brand marketing & social media activities
  • Activities and interventions to address arising market challenges
  • Defining required product offerings and innovations for the market
  • Contributing to governance structure and quality assurance measures
  • Management of third party (internal teams and external suppliers) contributors
  • Additional responsibilities may include research and application of global education technology trends; best practice discovery and competitor analyses of local market trends; exploration of new opportunities, customer groups and revenue streams and recommendation for development of local and global job placement opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Additional sales or relevant certifications
  • 4+ years B2B sales or business development experience
  • Previous responsibility for generating own leads and managing sales cycles
  • Established contacts and networks at large corporate and government institutions
  • Well networked in the local information and communications technology ecosystem
  • Demonstrable and quantifiable successes and track record in securing new business (B2B or B2C)
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Word)
  • Comfortable with providing effective sales presentations to varied audiences and stakeholder.
  • In tune with future-focused technologies such as artificial intelligence, block chain, crypto currency, cyber security, data analytics, digital marketing, internet of things, software engineering, Web3, etc

Experience:
  • Sales & Business devlopment: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Technology or education sector: 3 years (Preferred)
