Our offerings include PICO lanterns, solar kits, and solar home systems, aimed at empowering households and small businesses with reliable and clean energy. We serve communities in Bwari and nearby village markets, including SCC, Kagarko, and Isah.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling solar products in Bwari and surrounding village markets. This role involves traveling to rural communities, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales deals. Key Responsibilities:
- Sell solar products (PICO lanterns, solar kits, and solar home systems) to customers in village markets such as SCC, Kagarko, Isah, and Bwari.
- Identify sales opportunities in rural communities and develop strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Engage with local market traders, households, and small business owners to explain the benefits of solar energy.
- Conduct product demonstrations at village markets and community events to generate interest and drive sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide basic technical support and after-sales assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Report on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to management.
- Travel regularly to village markets to establish a local presence and increase product awareness.
- 1+ year of sales experience, particularly in rural or grassroots environments, is a plus.
- Knowledge of solar products is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with rural communities.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
- Willingness to travel frequently to village markets in and around Bwari, including SCC, Kagarko, and Isah.
- Basic understanding of rural market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for reporting.
- Ability to Speak Hausa is Required
