RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock receipt, issuance, and disposal.
- Monitor stock levels to identify shortages or surpluses, ensuring adequate availability of materials to support business operations.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with records to prevent discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy in quantity and quality, checking against purchase orders or requisition forms.
- Document received goods and report any damages, discrepancies, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner within the store or warehouse.
- Implement and maintain storage best practices, ensuring the preservation and security of all materials.
- Label and tag items for easy identification and retrieval.
- Issue and prepare materials or items requested by various departments.
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of all issued goods, maintaining a seamless workflow in material usage.
- Adhere to safety and security policies within the store area, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and any relevant laws or regulation
- Maintain records of stock movement, including receipts, dispatches, and returns, in a timely and organized manner.
- Use inventory management software to update stock records, generate reports, and track item usage.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, reorder points, and other key metrics.
- Alert management on slow-moving or obsolete stock and suggest measures for disposal or repurposing.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Manager, or similar role.
- Knowledge of the use of POS
- Familiarity with standard inventory management practices and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₦120,000.00 per month
