Job Description:
As an Upwork Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our Upwork profile, bidding on relevant projects, engaging with potential clients, and closing deals. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Profile Management:
  • Maintain and optimize our Upwork profile to attract potential clients.
  • Regularly update the portfolio, client testimonials, and service descriptions.
  • Bidding on Projects:
  • Identify and bid on projects that match our expertise in web, mobile, and AI app development.
  • Write compelling and tailored proposals for each project.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and messages.
  • Conduct initial discussions to understand client requirements and establish rapport.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they are a good fit for our services.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate terms, timelines, and budgets with potential clients.
  • Close deals by addressing client concerns and formalizing agreements.
  • Manage contract finalization and onboarding of new clients.
  • Project Management Support:
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure clear communication of client requirements.
  • Assist in the transition from sales to project execution to ensure a smooth handover.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing Upwork profiles and bidding on projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in sales and client relationship management.
  • Ability to write persuasive proposals and understand client needs.
  • Knowledge of the software development industry, particularly web, mobile, and AI applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
