We now have an open position as a Commercial Support Officer in our Programs Team at GKN Aerospace Norway AS, in Kongsberg. In this role you will be interacting with our customers as well as internal customers.
As a Commercial Support Officer you will be supporting the day to day commercial operation of the business together with the Commercial (“CM”), Commercial Offier (“CO”) and Commercial Program Managers (“CPM”).
You will act as the internal and external customer interface for contract requirements, purchase orders, schedules & demand management, discrepancies and other contractual matters.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for providing Commercial support and Contract order administration support to the Cusomter segment
• Responsible for the weekly/monthly rutins within the program such as Customer & Program demand, weekly / monthly reports, etc.
• Review, coordinate and manage customer purchase orders for acceptability (Contract references, other terms & conditions, pricing, delivery, Q-requirements, Government regulations and legal requirements) and set up sales order in GKNs ERP system. Work closely with Value Streams on order-handling internally as well as support CMs, COs and CPMs in the demand & forecasting process (MPS & e SIOP analysis)
• Facilitate the invoicing process and be responsible for overdue debt clearance (including direct liaison and management of overdue debt resolution with customers.
• To support customer / change negotiations and implementation including analysis of data and pricing in cooperation with CM/ PM
• Ability to integrate with internal processes and departments to highlight commercial issues to the program.
• Support the interface with the business to highlight contractual obligations to its customers in order to avoid breach of such obligations.
• Co-ordination of Commercial communication to and from internal and external customers.
• Establishing and controlling robust document management in the IPT and towards/ from the customer.
• Drive and manage stock take reconcialation for RRSP programs

Qualifications/ Experience/ Skills/ Profile

• We believe you have a degree in business, law, engineering or other related field. We encourage newly graduates to apply.

• It is required that you speak English. Frenc, Italian and Norwegian is a plus. Our working language is Norwegian.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Passion for team work and the Aerospace industry
