Norse Atlantic Airways is an airline that offers affordable fares on long-haul flights, primarily between Europe and the United States. The company was founded by CEO and major shareholder Bjørn Tore Larsen in March 2021. Norse has a fleet of 15 modern, fuel-efficient and more environmentally friendly Boeing 787 Dreamliners that serve destinations including New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Cape Town, Bangkok, Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris. The company's first flight took off from Oslo to New York on June 14, 2022.
Responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities and duties
- Crew Planner duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure an optimized and cost-efficient long-term planning of all flight crew members.
- Operational and commercial training duties, checks, office duties and vacation.
- Generate and publish crew rosters adapted to the operational and legal requirements as well as crew qualifications. Check expiries of licenses, medicals, and other necessary checks.
- Strong collaboration with the Crew Controller, Crew Training, Flight Operations and People Airborne.
- Preparation of internal and CAA reports.
- As Norse grows and evolves, you can expect to have the opportunity to get involved in different tasks.
- Ability and right to live and work in Norway
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to Multitask/balance conflicting priorities Team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of EASA, crewing related systems, booking systems will be appreciated
- Experience in crew control, crew planning, logistical planning, or a similar position would be considered as an advantage
- Previous experience with PDC Airline Suite will be appreciated
