Job Title: Electronics/Hardware Engineer (Embedded Systems)
Location: Horten, Norway
Duration: 6 months (Full-time, 100%)
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking a skilled Electronics/Hardware Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced products in a demanding and innovative environment. You will play a key role in designing, testing, and maintaining electronics for new products, as well as providing support for our existing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electronics for new products
• Maintain and update existing product portfolios
• Create system schematics and specifications for product designs and deliveries
• Integrate sensors, control systems, and handle system integration in challenging environments
• Prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting hardware designs
• Provide technical support to the product delivery organization
• Collaborate on system integration, including sensor integration, power management, motor control, and communication systems
• Work with network architecture, radio communication systems, and EMI challenges
• Handle lithium batteries and battery management systems (BMS)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in designing analog and digital electronics
• Knowledge of FPGA programming and system integration
• Experience with power management, motor control, and sensor systems
• Familiarity with radio communication systems, network architecture, and EMI challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware prototyping
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with troubleshooting hardware systems, system integration, and sensor control systems
• Experience with lithium battery management and BMS
• Understanding of network architecture and radio communication
