and certification company founded in 1997, expert in the
mobility sector.
Our group, headquartered in Valenciennes (France), is
present in ten countries with subsidiaries in Algeria,
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany,
Austria, the Netherlands, China, Turkey and Norway with
branches in the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and
Denmark.
Specialized in the mobility & railway industry, we provide our testing, inspection, and
certification services to vehicle and component manufacturers, rail operators, infrastructure
managers.
CERTIFER acts as a Designated Body (De Bo) in different countries, as a Notified Body (No Bo) at
European level and is also recognized as an Independent Safety Assessment Body.

CERTIFER Nordics AS in Norway and its branch office in Denmark is growing and plan to recruit
several new resources for its growing portfolio of third-party projects.
To strengthen its team in the Nordic countries, CERTIFER Nordics is looking to hire Signalling
engineers to carry out the management and/or technical evaluation activities of signalling
projects, ERTMS projects, No Bo, As Bo or ISA projects.
The Signalling engineers will be part of the Nordic team and will be based in Norway or in
Denmark.
Role and responsibilities
The engineers will play a vital role in signalling related projects or No Bo, As Bo or ISA projects
related to onboard, or trackside signalling and perform activities like:

• Project Manager

• Support the preparation of offers (technical and commercial)

• Detailed technical assessment

• Interact with the customer, other assessment bodies and railway safety authorities

• Ensure respect for company quality processes

• Participate in Scandinavian and international projects

• Perform on-site inspections

• Perform project audits

• Prepare relevant reports

It will also be beneficial if the engineers have experience/knowledge in

• Industrial engineering / third party projects

• Extensive knowledge of the general railway regulations and the specific TSI CCS

regulation

• Experience in project management within the technical area of CCS in the railway sector

• Experience on ETCS projects, and knowledge of ETCS Specifications

• Knowledge of legacy signalling systems in Scandinavia

• Knowledge of Decision EU Modules 2010/713

• Knowledge of Regulation CSM-RA 402/2013,

• Knowledge of CENELEC standards 50126, 50128 and 50129

• One or several of the Nordic languages

• Other European languages

• Ability to work independently and as a team, set priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to communicate with customers for inspections and business matters
