Job Description

Statkraft is a global leader in renewable energy, developing, generating, and supplying electricity and district heating while operating power plants worldwide. To achieve this goal, Statkraft has realized the importance of aligning its technology infrastructure with its business strategy, and as such, it requires a dedicated Enterprise Architect to develop and maintain the technology architecture strategy and roadmap that supports its business objectives.
Statkraft is seeking an experienced and talented Enterprise Architect, to join the Enterprise Architecture team, to play a critical role in the development and implementation of its technology architecture strategy. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, the Enterprise Architect will work closely with the business and technical teams to develop and maintain a technology platform that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities in this role:

• Develop and maintain the technology architecture strategy and roadmap that supports the company's business objectives
• Conduct regular assessments of the current state of the enterprise architecture and develop roadmaps for future improvements
• Ensure that the technology architecture is scalable, flexible, and secure
• Partner with Business IT developers and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that will improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain architecture standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across the organization
• Work closely with other architects, project management and technical teams to ensure that they are aligned with the technology architecture strategy and roadmap
• Provide guidance and leadership to technical teams on technology architecture best practices
• Communicate the technology architecture strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and the business
• Coach and mentor other architects, IT and business stakeholders to instil architectural thinking

Qualifications

We believe the right candidate has:

• 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in enterprise architecture
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and to understand processes and workflows across multiple functions
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, cloud-based solutions, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics
• Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks
• Vendor- and technology-neutral
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Strong consulting skills: targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management, and business development.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Comfortable, experienced and accomplished at working with business executives, being able to push back in a professional and diplomatic way

These skills and experiences would be preferred in the role:

• Understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, hydropower) is a plus
• University degree in computer science, information technology, or related
• Knoweldge of electricity market structures, energy management, process control systems and technologies
• Experience with agile and lean methodologies, IT service management, ITIL framework
• Experience working in a global organization
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman
