The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation (TDI) you will have the opportunity to:- Be a technical safety support to operations, modifications and project development within traditional energy, renewables, low carbon solutions and other business units across Equinor.
- Work related to safety instrumentation systems/functional safety - SIS/SIL.
- Conduct risk and safety assessments.
- Consequence modelling, e.g. computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Advising within safety system design / operations, e.g. fire protection systems.
- Ensure competitive use of technology and specialist competence across the company, and search for cost efficient and innovative solutions for future energy opportunities, such as hydrogen (H2) and ammonia (NH3).
- You will be part of the Safety Technology Competence Center, which provides Equinor with technology development, qualification and implementation, specialist competence and advisory services.
You

- A Masters Degree or Ph D within a relevant field.
- Relevant experience from risk assesments.
- Familiarity with applicable standards, rules and regulations in Norway, and preferably internationally.
- Experience from an engineering company would be beneficial.
- Project development and operational experience would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English, Norwegian language skills would be advantageous.
