Due to increasing workscope Sperry Drilling are looking for ADTs for an exciting new project on the Norwegian Continental Shelf with a major operator.
This position is an ideal career move for motivated technical professionals with a strong background in one or more of the following categories: drilling engineering, well planning, surface data logging, M/LWD, directional drilling or similar.

Responsibilities:
The ADT Optimization role demands a high focus and proactive approach towards the drilling operations with real-time problem solving. You will need to use and interpret data throughout the planning, execution and post-well phases to solve complex engineering problems.
You will also provide modelling and analysis for drilling optimization disciplines, evaluate the drilling process to identify and evaluate challenges, identify solutions and make professional and safe recommendations to improve drilling performance.
The job requires regular communication and consultancy towards operative Halliburton personnel as well as the customer.
Good customer relations fulfill specialized customer requirements and use feedback to follow-up on factors that can potentially improve service delivery.
You need to be focused on details and be prepared to hold presentations towards customers on project results or other investigations.
The position is located either at customer’s office or at our real –time operation center in Tananger.
We are preferable looking for people that live locally in the Stavanger area but can consider candidates from further afield dependent on experience and mindset.

Qualifications:
You need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in drilling operation and have knowledge of In Site and exposure to Landmark drilling softwares.
This is not an entry level in the oil industry and you need a complete understanding of the drilling process.
Preferably Master (MSc) or Bachelor degree (BSc) in Engineering, Petroleum, Science or other relevant fields are required.
Proven Presentations skills and customer interactions.
Personal Qualifications:
Team oriented candidates that exhibit good communication skills will be preferred.
The job relies on clear and concise contact with all parties involved in the well operation both onshore and offshore. You need to work structured, analytic and organized.
The position requires that you champion the Company's HSE procedures.
