The Finance Manager will lead finance, credit, accounting, and reporting activities for entity(ies) under their scope to provide high-class finance services both internally and to local authorities. They will be the point of contact for all audit requests. Acting in a dotted line reporting relationship to the Country Manager of the areas,. They contribute to the business leadership by providing finance, reporting and analysis support to the team when necessary.
- Leads the local Finance Function
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of entity(ies) under his/her scope, driving to achieve best practice culture that delivers company financial targets in line with Brunswick accounting policies and statutory and tax requirements.
- Develops a solid understanding of the Company's market and has an in-depth knowledge of the business's financial dynamics to support the Country Manager, namely for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
- Reviews maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems and financial statements in accordance with SOX, company policy and other applicable legislation.
- Ensures Credit is managed in line with the division & company’s targets and rules. Manages cash collection and DSO in Brunswick's best interest.
- Leads the salary and HR administration for entity(ies) under their scope.
- Counsels the sales and marketing teams on pricing/discount and ensures the impact on margins is fully understood.
- Supports Country Manager and other functions when needed, including but not limited to company car lease coordination and contact person for the payroll service provider.
- To operate in line with company policies and procedures, especially concerning SOX, the company ethics program and the company’s health, safety and environmental policies.
Skills & Knowledge
- Master´s Degree in Finance
- Min. 5 years work experience in Finance and Credit
- Experience in an international environment preferred, with a proven ability to lead a team.
- Capability to oversee several entities and support the companies with any Future M&A in the Nordics area
- Analytical minded
- Result oriented
- Customer-oriented
- Team player
- Ability to deal with confidential matters
- Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
- Stress resistant
- Rigorous in her/his work
- Good coaching and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in Norwegian and English. Swedish or Danish is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office
