Vianode is an advanced battery materials company providing sustainable anode graphite solutions for the battery and EV value chains in North America and Europe. Vianode’s breakthrough solution enables tailored high-performance synthetic anode graphite and a holistic sustainability offering including a 90% reduction in CO2 footprint. The company is currently preparing to start its first full-scale plant at Herøya, Norway, before executing its multi-billion dollar phased investment program for large-scale plants in North America and Europe. We are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance department located in Skøyen, Oslo. You will have a central function in the company’s accounting and controlling team with a real opportunity to make a difference. The position reports to the accounting manager.
Main responsibilities:

• Monitor the cost & cash development of Vianode AS and its group companies with reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepare provisions, accruals, and other adjustments within deadlines.
• Monthly budget follow ups with department- and project managers.
• Assist with assessments and preparations of financial statements and other ad-hoc reports.

• Assist with securing compliance of IFRS and the Norwegian Accounting act.
• Assist with the development and documentation of processes and routines.

Qualifications:

• Higher education within accounting or finance, preferably within auditing and accounting (MRR).
• Minimum 4 years of experience from auditing, accounting, or financial controlling.
• Interest for and strong skills in Excel and ERP-systems.
• Knowledge of and experience from working with IFRS. Strong interest for IFRS can compensate for lack of practical experience.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Anaplan or similar reporting and consolidation tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills are requirements for the position
