About us:
Brødrene Wangen AS consist of both the Hotel Fjord Resort in Aurland, and 3 souvenir shops Mall of Norway. We are a proud family-run company led by third generation. Our shops have been open for many years, while our Fjord Resort opened in 2023. We are now building another 12 rooms to be added to the Resort.
We need a service-minded person to take care of daily tasks in both Fjord Resort and our souvenir shops. You will have varied days and be part of a young and diverse team of colleagues. Your workplace will be divided between Flåm and Aurland, a beautiful location at the heart of Sognefjorden. We are open all year, and so far, the summer is our busiest season but picking up to be more and more busy all year around.

Position: Maintenance in a 100 % full time position

Qualifications and experience needed are:

• Education and/or experience within maintenance
• Have special skills such as a carpenter or with other craftmanship
• Speak and write Norwegian or English
• Manage your own workday according to a list of tasks

Your tasks are diverse, but such as:

• Main responsibility is repair and maintenance of properties within the company Brødrene Wangen AS
• Locations being Fjord resort and Mall of Norway
• Mending and repairing inventory such as locks, furniture, fixing electrical goods, small paint jobs etc.
• Mending and repair at Mall of Norway
• Mending and repair of staff accommodation
• Be able to see what needs to be done to take good care of the property of both the resort and the shops
• Repair and maintenance of outdoor areas

What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills
• Are flexible and cooperative
• Service minded towards your colleagues and guests

Accommodation:
Preferably you have your own place or manage to find a good place to live and stay. If you do not have any accommodation, we can help provide you with one. Our staff accommodation comes with costs.
