IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop methods and algorithms for flow measurement products
- Develop and qualify new products for Emerson portfolio
- Function as the product development’s professional resource person within issues regarding the specialized field: multiphase flow, microwave measurement, impedance measurement / tomography.
- Support other parts of the organization with advanced technical support when needed: e.g. service, sales, production and manufacturing & engineering
- Act as a resource for Project Manager and Department Managers in evaluating risks, timelines and challenges in projects

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in electronics, physics or another relevant field. Strong theoretical skills within one or several of the fields: electromagnetics, physics and measurement of multiphase flow
- 5-10 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent business experience
- Ideally experience from technology and product development or industrial research, preferably from the oil & gas industry
- Experience from using simulation tools like Matlab, Comsol or HFSS
- Analytical, structured, thorough, committed, self-driven and proactive
- Some experience with software engineering
- Good communication, presentation and documentation skills
