Drive Product Strategy for Retail and Wholesale Software Solutions
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Product Manager to join our Product Management team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with fellow Product Managers, customers, stakeholders, and legal/business experts to chart the course for our products. Your insights and leadership will be instrumental in crafting industry-leading solutions that cater to the ever-evolving needs of our retail and wholesale clients.
Our goal is to stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in technological innovations such as AI, to ensure our products set the standard for excellence in the retail and wholesale sector. We are building a strong product management team, who thrive on deep market understanding and customer insights. Your role will be to harness your knowledge, driving our product vision and making strategic decisions that set new benchmarks for excellence in our industry.
In EG we have an extensive product management framework, that supports the Product manager in the various parts of the discipline – hence mastering the toolbox will be an important part of your everyday work. In-depth analytical skills combined with the urge to create objective decisions on those will be crucial for your success.
Your profile
You are skilled in the product management discipline, and as a person you are engaged, independent and able to act in your job. We believe it is important that you deeply understand our business model and the intricate dynamics of the retail and wholesale industry, aligning product development with our broader business goals. To do this, you should utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to inform product strategies, ensuring our solutions not only meet market needs but are eagerly anticipated by users.

You will be a part of our Product Management team and work together with highly skilled Product Managers, UX Designers and Solution Architects. Our agile development organization with engaged employees has a common vision to deliver digital solutions to our customers of high quality, giving value to their business. - Experience in the role of product management.
- Technology, Retail and/or Wholesale sectors knowledge and insights.
- Your decision-making is always supported by market analysis or by deep customer knowledge and interaction, ensuring our products genuinely solve user problems.
- You're experienced with analytics, drawing actionable insights to guide product development.
- You understand the financial and operational pillars of our business, making choices that are viable and strategic, also when it comes to pricing of our products.
- You have your finger on the pulse of the retail and wholesale industry, anticipating shifts and integrating them into our product strategy.
- While you're not the Manager of anyone, your leadership skills inspire cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Deep knowledge of the discipline of product management and how to facilitate product boards and manage stakeholders before, during and after a product board meeting.
- Knowledgeable about how to create and develop product strategies and road maps.
- Good communication skills in English and Norwegian or Danish, both written and spoken is expected.
