About the role

Our Project Department is experiencing growth, and we are looking for a motivated and structured Project Manager who wants to join our fantastic team in Norway and take part in our exciting growth journey. In this role you will lead a team that will deliver projects through planning and carrying out the tasks until the final delivery of fire and gas alarm systems and equipment in accordance with the agreed schedule, budget, and quality. The Project Manager distributes tasks between team members and guide them to efficient implementation of the projects. You will also be the Focal Point of Contact towards the customer organization and will be responsible for project execution.
We have offices in several cities in Norway, so for the right candidate, the residence location is not decisive.

Your responsibilities
As a Project Manager you will:
- Plan and lead delivery projects of fire and gas systems in accordance with the contract and customer specification.
- Actively manage project finances to secure margins and cost within planned budget. Furthermore, contribute to revenue increase of projects by managing variation orders.
- Be responsible for hand over to operations in timely manner. Ensure documentation and information to production and warehouse.
- Ensure that the project work is carried out with good HSE and quality according to the company's current processes and procedures.
- Lead contract negotiations for variation orders during project execution.
- Cooperate with sales during pre-project and BID phase.
Qualifications we are looking for

- It is desirable to have competence in engineering and/or relevant practice which is necessary for effective follow-up of fire and gas alarm systems within the Oil and Gas / Energy industry. Other relevant candidates without an engineering degree will also be considered based on their profile.
- Knowledge of the regulations that apply to delivery projects of fire and gas alarm systems is an advantage.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Project Planning Software, etc.)
- English language skills, Norwegian is an advantage.
