The Sales & Marketing team is now seeking a dynamic, hands-on marketing professional, to join the team as Head of EMEA Marketing – to lead Regional Marketing for the Europe, Middle East and African Region.
Rystad Energy is looking for candidates with extensive marketing experience, preferably within the energy space. As the team lead, you will be responsible for all marketing activities in the EMEA region, managing a team of talented marketers while collaborating with global teams to ensure alignment and impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Regional Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of the regional marketing strategy to support business growth, brand positioning, and customer acquisition across diverse markets.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing regional marketing team, ensuring seamless collaboration and talent development.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social, events, and traditional media, tailored to regional market dynamics and cooperate with the respective sub-teams on those campaigns.
- Events: Designing and implementing and calendar of high impact, in-person and hybrid events including conferences, webinars, networking briefings and our annual summit event.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights that drive regional strategies and tactics.
- Brand Awareness & Positioning: Strengthen the company’s brand presence and positioning in the EMEA region by implementing effective branding initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and global marketing teams to align business objectives, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- For this position, we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional role, preferably within the EMEA region.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team across multiple geographies.
- Proven track record of hands-on marketing execution, with strong digital, brand strategy, and campaign management expertise.
- Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of EMEA markets, including cultural, economic, and regulatory differences.
- Marketing Knowledge: Extensive experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, campaign management, and market analysis.
- Analytical & Results-Oriented: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent Communication: Fluency in English required
- Relationship builder: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships inside and outside Rystad Energy including expectation management and negotiation skills
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong project management and multitasking skills.
