AiBA

Sales Executive with Gaming Industry Experience

FULL TIME

September 20, 2024

Aiba.ai is a pioneering tech company dedicated to safeguarding children and young adults in online games and social media platforms. As digital risks such as sexual exploitation, bullying, self-harm, and radicalization escalate daily, our mission is more critical than ever. We offer state-of-the-art AI-driven content moderation solutions, empowering companies to protect their users and manage their communities more effectively and comply with regulations. With a global presence and headquarters in Norway, our team is committed to making the digital world a safer place for the younger generation.
You are a highly driven Sales Executive with at least 4 years of experience, ready to own the sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure. You have a proven track record of success in sales, ideally in Saa S or tech solutions. Your expertise includes prospecting new business, outreach, conducting effective calls, delivering strong sales pitches and closing deals. You are skilled in managing a full sales cycle, negotiating deals, and have experience with B2B clients.
You possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in any additional languages is a plus. You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You are a person who can close deals over the phone, video, or in person. You have a growth mindset, enjoy learning, solving problems, working independently, and developing both yourself and others. Above all, you have a good sense of humor and the maturity to thrive in a feedback-driven culture.

THE JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a results-driven individual who can independently manage a sales pipeline, from identifying potential clients to closing deals.
Most of your time will be spent on email and phone communication with indie and mid-sized gaming companies around the world, the challenges they face in areas like moderation, compliance, trust and safety, and how AI can optimize in-game moderation.
This outreach is part of your overall responsibility to prospect, contact, pitch, and sell to new clients. While onboarding large gaming companies is a priority, a considerable amount of time will be spent reaching out to indie and mid-sized companies.
Building relationships is a fundamental part of this role. Your ability to build trust will allow you to understand each client’s strategy deeply and offer tailored solutions. Rather than being just a supplier, Aiba.ai positions itself as a trusted partner, invested in helping clients grow their businesses.
Your administrative tasks will include managing campaigns on our dashboard, keeping the CRM up to date, and coordinating with business operations teams to resolve any technical issues. Ensuring a smooth workflow from prospecting to closing deals is key.
A significant aspect of the role involves travel. Bi-monthly trips to meet new and existing clients, as well as networking at conferences, will be required. We believe that exposure to different cultures and the opportunity to do business in multiple countries is an exciting and rewarding prospect.
We value people who are curious and interested in learning. We are not looking for aggressive salespeople who stick rigidly to a script but for individuals who can tell a compelling story, articulate our product’s value, and offer solutions tailored to the client’s needs. By being humble, clear, modest, and personable, we aim to be seen as trusted strategic partners for our clients’ growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting: Identifying, contacting, and converting potential clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Owning the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups, and negotiating deals that align with Aiba.ai’s goals.
  • Sales Pitches: Delivering compelling pitches that demonstrate the value of Aiba.ai’s products.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiating contracts and closing deals that meet and exceed client needs.
  • Account Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, focusing on retention and growth.
  • KPI/OKRs: Setting ambitious, achievable targets, and tracking performance against these metrics. ARR is a key metric of success.

In Summary
We are looking for someone who can independently manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract signing—while maintaining transparency through accurate records in our CRM system (Hubspot). You will collaborate with marketing, tech, and customer support teams to ensure client success, attend industry events to grow Aiba.ai’s presence, and continuously expand your knowledge of the video game industry, trust and safety space, and our moderation solutions to provide tailored recommendations to prospects.

YOUR MANAGER
With over 15 years of diverse business experience, your line manager brings expertise in Sales, Customer Success, New Business Development, International Scaling, Sales Strategy, and Team Management and together with the Sales Executive, will focus on delivering exceptional value to partners and clients, driving revenue, and fostering sustainable growth in the gaming moderation industry.
