It is a requirement that position holder has detailed knowledge and expertise in advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy in general, and diagnostic and therapeutic endosocpist techniques for colorectal polyps and cancer. In addition, strong leadership and research experience is a requirement.
Applicants are invited for a three year, 30 % position as Consultant in gastroenterology and Clinical Effectiveness Research at the Department of Transplantation Medicine, Clinical effectiveness research group, Oslo University Hospital. With posibility for extension of the contract period.
Starting date: As soon as possible.

hold a degree equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in medicine
-
be board-certified as gastroenteroligist
- have extensive experience in advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy
- be fluent oral and written communication skills in English
- have knowledge and expertise in clinical epidemiology and handling of large databases
-
have a strong methodological expertise, and interest and experience in clinical trials and data analysis tools
- good leadership and communication skills
- ability to work in a large and complex organisation
- personal eligibility will be emphasized in candidate selection
