On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer with experience in design, documentation, and technical oversight of instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Instrument design and follow up
• Preparation and review of Instruments discipline documentation
• Technical responsible for vendor packages including design, testing, review and follow-up
• Produce engineering work packages
• Multi-discipline interface and collaboration with site
• Site surveys
• Participate in reviews
• Include and manage data into engineering databases
• Define and procure instruments related required by the MTO

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation design principles
• Knowledge of rules and regulations for instruments, such as sensor selection, calibration, signal conditioning, and measurement systems
• Experience with offshore surveys desirable
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English is required

Work Experience:

• Minimum 8 years relevant in Instruments engineering
• Familiar with ensuring compliance in design and testing
• Experience in reviewing and managing instrumentation work packages

Education:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant area
• Long relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education

Required certificates:

• Basic EX course, 8 hours online or 22,5 hours in classroom
• FSE high and low voltage with first aid
• The candidate must go offshore if needed, and if an offshore course is not held when starting this must be completed if relevant
