Senior Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Instrument design and follow up
- Preparation and review of Instruments discipline documentation
- Technical responsible for vendor packages including design, testing, review and follow-up
- Produce engineering work packages
- Multi-discipline interface and collaboration with site
- Site surveys
- Participate in reviews
- Include and manage data into engineering databases
- Define and procure instruments related required by the MTO
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation design principles
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for instruments, such as sensor selection, calibration, signal conditioning, and measurement systems
- Experience with offshore surveys desirable
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English is required
- Minimum 8 years relevant in Instruments engineering
- Familiar with ensuring compliance in design and testing
- Experience in reviewing and managing instrumentation work packages
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant area
- Long relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
- Basic EX course, 8 hours online or 22,5 hours in classroom
- FSE high and low voltage with first aid
- The candidate must go offshore if needed, and if an offshore course is not held when starting this must be completed if relevant
