Senior Mechanical Engineer, rotating equipment

Location : Lysaker, Norway (Hybrid)
Duration : Long Term contract
Typical tasks will be:
- Specification of equipment.
- Concept evaluation
- Preparation of documents for inquiries and purchases.
- Package responsibility; follow-up of suppliers for various equipment such as compressors and pumps
- Preparation of documentation: Mechanical Equipment list, data sheets etc.
- Other tasks will be to follow up and manage work carried out by our office in India.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical engineering.
- Deep knowledge about compressors.
- Minimum 10-20 years of relevant experience from engineering (preferably from hydrogen plants, but carbon capture, LNG and/or oil and gas or other process industry is also relevant)
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations for onshore plants.
- It is required that the candidate has good collaboration and leadership skills, and excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken. Norwegian is added advantage.
