Main tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining productive team and customer relationships as well as ensuring Best Practices are applied in all service related activities
• Co-ordinate sub-contracted assignments and report any non-compliance
• Provide information and write reports as required
• Delegate work assignments to subcontracted teams
• Follow and comply all site safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
• Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair as necessary
• Recognize service and spares sales opportunities and communicate that to the relevant departments/persons.
  

What you’ll need to succeed

• Technical education Bachelors or Technical college level within technical engineering with a degree in steel work, mechanics, hydraulic, electrics or electronics engineering
• Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
• Ability to manage a big repair work in which at least 5 foreign workers are involved. Organize
• transports, tools, material, spare parts as well as food and accommodation
• Ability to work independently
• Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• Willingness to travel is essential
• Proficient in spoken and written Norwegian and English.
