Our Safety and Environment department in Stavanger is looking for a Specialist Engineer - Technical Safety to join our team.
What will you be doing?
- Be a part of a highly qualified Technical Safety Engineering team
- Be involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from Front End studies to M&M Projects in addition to Major Modification Projects
- Assessment of risk level for different solutions including associated qualitative / quantitative analysis
- Be responsible for Safety design reviews such as HAZID, Safety Assessment, ALARP Assessment etc.
- Ensure that relevant regulations and standards are known, understood, and followed in the project
- Ensure that work within discipline activities is performed in accordance with the project execution model for the assigned project
- Multidiscipline collaboration internally and with clients
- Be involved in the development of Safety & Environment department's expertise
We think you should have:
- Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 10 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards
- Drive to solve the hardest challenges for our customers with optimism and determination
- Curiosity about and ability to utilize new technology and digitalization
- A commercial mindset with good communication skills written/spoken in both Norwegian and English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
