Technical Support Professional
We have an opportunity for a Technical Support Professional to join us at Honeywell in Asker, Norway. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Job purpose:
Providing Level 1 and Sr. level 1 technical support for fire products, providing answers and solutions related to the product portfolio.
Main activities
Technical Support Specialist Sr. Level 1 (TSS Sr.L1) reports to the Technical Team leader.
TSS Sr.L1 provides support for one or more range of products - fire systems. The long-term objective is to provide support for multiple product lines.
TSS Sr.L1 responsibilities include:
Coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk (Hotline & e-mail)
Providing technical support level 1 and senior level 1 for client’s security products - anti- burglary systems, video control and access control. This includes:
Ensuring technical knowledge and expertise, on the relevant products within a portfolio, including legislative and regulatory approvals, is maintained to a high level.
Utilizing the SFDC article knowledge base to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Working closely with Range and Technology Specialists to further develop product knowledge to achieve independent call handling.
Preferred Responsibilities
Own development plans (technical & behavioural) for individual development (HPD)
Organizing department resources to meet the organization's needs, respecting the legal rights of CO (Labour code), overtime, leave without pay, etc.
Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of the site’s performance: consistently identifying opportunities to improve your own activity and those of the department. (Kaizen ideas in line with the objectives of the department).
Perform Gemba Walks / 5S audits / SOS audits.
Follow and respond to the rules of Labor protection and internal regulations.
Ensure the development of work instructions (with OSH regulations), for jobs under Team leader responsibilities, clearly highlighting any risks.
Manage the implementation of the evacuation plan for areas of responsibility
Education / Qualifications
Degree level technical background achieved
through appropriate educational study.
Languages required:- Norwegian, Swedish, Danish
